Privacy Policy
Updated July 2026
models.camp is an independent guide to starting a modeling career. We are not a modeling agency. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our site or submit the "Get discovered" application, why we collect it, where it is stored, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you submit the "Get discovered" application, we collect the information you give us directly: your stated goal, age range, city and country, email address, height and measurements, modeling experience, phone number or messenger handle if you provide one, and up to two reference photos (front and profile). We also record your consent choices and a basic completeness score used to prioritize review. We do not ask for your legal name, home address, government ID, or payment details, and you should never be asked for any of those to apply.
We also collect limited technical data automatically, such as your IP address and browser details, to keep the application secure and to prevent abuse (see "Bot protection and rate limiting" below).
Why we collect it
We use this information for one purpose: to build a profile that can be reviewed and, with your consent, shared with modeling programs, camps, and scouts who may be a fit for you. We also use it in aggregate, de-identified form to understand which guides and pages are useful, and to improve the site.
How your profile is shared
We do not sell your data to third parties. Your profile and photos are shared with modeling programs, camps, and scouts only after you give consent at the application step where that choice is presented, and only for the purpose of considering you for opportunities. When a new lead is submitted, a summary is also sent to our internal review channel (currently Telegram) so a real person can review it — this is an operational notification, not a third-party disclosure.
Where your data is stored
Your application data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and your photos are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. Cloudflare's infrastructure operates data centers in both the United States and the European Union; depending on routing, your data may be processed or stored in either region. We rely on Cloudflare's security controls (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls) to protect this data.
Bot protection and rate limiting
To keep the application usable for real applicants, we use Cloudflare Turnstile (a privacy- respecting alternative to CAPTCHA) and basic per-IP rate limits on our submission endpoints. These checks use minimal technical signals (like IP address) and are not used for advertising or tracking across other sites.
Retention and deletion
We keep application data and photos only as long as needed to review your profile and connect you with relevant programs. If you want your photos or profile deleted, email hello@models.camp with the email address you applied with, and we will delete your photos and personal data from our systems, typically within 30 days. Some minimal records (such as that a deletion request was made) may be kept to comply with legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California) to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, and receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@models.camp. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
Minors and parental consent
The application is open to applicants aged 13 and older. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must also consent before your profile is shared with any program, and we display a notice to that effect during the application. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has submitted information to us, contact hello@models.camp and we will remove it.
Photos
The reference photos you upload are used only for the purpose of your application review and, with your consent, for sharing with programs and scouts you may be a fit for. We do not use your photos for advertising, publish them publicly, or share them with anyone outside that review process without your separate, explicit consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
