Editorial Policy

models.camp is an independent guide, not a modeling agency. This page explains how we research and write our guides, how we would handle reviews of camps and agencies, and how we correct mistakes.

How we research

Our guides are built from public industry information (agency websites, published rate data, licensing rules such as state talent-agency laws), and from patterns we observe across many agencies and programs rather than any single source. Where figures like pay ranges or timelines are estimates, we say so and describe the range rather than presenting a single number as certain.

Independence

We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive mention, recommendation, or ranking. If we ever run a paid placement or partnership with a camp, program, or agency, it will be clearly labeled as sponsored or paid, and it will not change how we describe legitimate red flags (such as upfront fees) if they exist.

How the application review works

When someone submits the "Get discovered" application, a real person reviews it before any sharing happens, and sharing only happens with the applicant's consent. We do not auto-forward every submission to every program; we aim to match profiles to programs where they are a plausible fit.

Corrections

If you find an error, an outdated price, a broken link, or a claim that no longer holds, we want to fix it. Emailhello@models.camp with the page and the issue. We will review and correct verified errors, and for meaningful factual corrections we will update the "Updated" date on the affected page.
